NELSON, this day.

The auxiliary schooner Te Aroha collided with and sank a fishing launch owned by Mr. G. A. Thompson, about three miles outside the harbour entrance, before daylight this morning.

One of the three occupants of the launch, a youth. named Galey, was drowned.
