PRESENTATIONS.
There was quite a large gathering of local residents at the Ponsonby Police Station last night to give a "send olT" to Constable L. on the eve of his transfer to Wlinngam. Mr. V. Johnson, on behalf of tho gathering spoke .warmly of Constable Holt's pood "work for the community during the seven year.- he had been there, and presented him with a handsome- leather suitcase.
