MARIST SUPERIOR.
ARRIVAL FROM SYDNEY.
Amonsr the passengers who arrived this afternoon from Sydney by the Marama. was Brother Clement, wiio has been appointed Assistant Superior General of the Marist Brothers Order in New Zealand, in the place of Brother Columbanus, who died recently.
Although an Australian by birth, Brother Clement is well-known in New Zealand, havinjr been principal of the Sac-re Heart College in Auckland about twelve years ago. Since then he has been Provincial Superior of the order in Australia, and in charge of St. Joseph's College at Hunter's Hill.
