j In the hope that they mav be fortunate enough to get a Gloaming or « [ Limerick, a number of Aucklanders were [buyers at the Sydney yearling -ales, and home of the youngsters arrival bv the Vlarama this morning. All looked in good condition, and had evidently been well cared for, and as it will onlv be a few weeks before they are put into work, the caances are that some of them at least will be found making their first appearance in public at the Avondale ockev Club's spring meeting next September. The bloodstock to arrive this morning comprised: A yearling gelding by Polvmestor, for m, Tw °bill, of Thames.* >. «„ bro ? d mave Q»con March, with S ;V .
