SHIP'S PASSENGER ARRESTED.
"I have only been in the country a few hours, and I am going away on the Niagara to-day," said a young man who was before the Police Court this morning for drunkenness. The accused, who arrived from Vancouver by the Niagara yesterday, added that he had no money, excepting an Australian cheque and some American money which he could not cash.
"We don't want him here," said SubInspector McCarthy. Accused was convicted and discharged.
