KHYBER PASS COLLISION.
MOTOR LORRY AND LIGHT VAX
A motor van, owned by the Crothall Way Cleaning Co., struck a heavy lorry loaded with pipes, at the intersection of Khyber Pass and Victoria Crescent, Newmarket, this morning. Coming down Khyber Pass, the van. which was driven by Mr. CrothaU's son, was behind another car, and the bov states that he did not see the lorry, which was crossing tlie Pass from Broadway into Victoria Crescent. The van struck the lorry just in front of one of the back wheels and was dragged thirty feet.
The radiator, engine and one front wheel of the van were crushed, while the other front wh«el was torn off. The lorry was not damaged.
