Alfred Lidon Wood, aged 21, the son of Mr. E. W. Wood, of East Stnej* Pukekohe, died early this morning * lowing a week's illness. Mr. Wood **j a well-known footballer, and repre&en Pukekohe. South Auckland. Ponson J and Auckland. Death was due to P® 1 *" ■tonrtis.
