Mr. -'notice Frazer, president of the Arbitration Court, is in Auckland. He is at the Hotel Cargen.
Mr. Oliver Nicholson and Mr. A. S. Bankart came back to Auckland from Wellington on Saturday.
Mr. J. F. Ewen, accompanied by his wife and their three daughters, left for Wellington by last night's train. They will remain in the South for a few days.
Passengers by the Limited from Wellington this morning included Mr. G. Reid, of Wellington, and Mr. C. W. White, -of Christchurch.
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Self and their two daughters will leave Auckland by the Niagara to-morrow morning to join the Orama, en route to England. They expect to be away from New Zealand for twelve months.
Captain N. G. Harries, Mrs. Harries and Miss Harries, who have been resident in Auckland for the past three years, left by the Tofua on Saturday. They will spend some weeks in Fiji before going on to England.
Guests at the Central Hotel include Mr. and Mrs. J. Leggatt, of Putaniru, Mr. P. P. Macfarlane, of Wellington, Mr. W. J. Jowsey, of Hastings, Mr. L. Sweeney and Mr. F. Jaeobsen, of Hamilton, and Mr. G. P. Bell, of Christchurch.
Star Hotel guests include Mr. D. R. Taylor, Mr. C. Downey, Mr. J. Hunt, Mr. E. Harvey, Mr. S. A. King, Mr. C. E. Neilson and Mr. L. S. Butcher, of Wellington, Mr. P. S. Sorrell, of Napier, Mr. and Mrs. S. Dawson and Mr. A. Bishop, of Melbourne, and Mr. W. Pryce, of Christchurch.
