The Marlborough Racing Club's autumn meeting, which opened at Trent ham on Saturday, is being concluded in fine weather on an excellent track. There i 8 a fair attendance.

As the arrangement to race across the Strait was made to give the South Island club a lift along, it is pleasing to note that Saturday's totalisator figures alone were a hundred per cent greater than the two day's return for 1927, when the meeting was held at Waterlea.
