PRESENTATION.
Having been associated with the business of Samuel Vaile and Sons, Ltd., for 18 years, for four of which he was a "director of the firm, Mr. H. G. Palethorpe has retired- He was farpwelled by the directors and staff on Saturday, when he was wished "the best of good fortune" on entering into business on his own account. Mr. H. E. Vaile referred to the firm's appreciation of Mr. Palethorpe's work, land handed him mementos from the directors and staff.
