BUSY EASTER WEEK.
FESTIVE SPIRIT IN EVIDENCE THE LAST-MINUTE RUSH.
Happiness is the keynote of the crowds cliat at present daily throng the shops in town and suburbs. With Easter only a few days ahead, there is the imta 1 last-minute rush, and the shop staffs are experiencing their busiest period since Christmas. While the holiday requirements take first place the approach of winter lends a more serious touch, and warm winter clothing is a big item with the shopper.
And quite apart from the usual holiday and winter shopping need?, the festive spirit is present to encourage buying iu other directions, improvements to the home being only one of a number of items.
