NEW YORK BTOCK EXCHANGE. BOOM SUBSIDING. NEW YORK, April 2. Stock Exchange trading bore a semblance of a normal tone for the first time in weeks, and the frenzy of recent days, when leading stocks reached new high levels, and the volume of trading rrL e records, subsided to a murmur. The total sales for the day after approaching five million in several sessions 8^. week ' were barely over three million. The governors of the Stock Exchange agreed to suspend trading from the afternoon of April 4 until the morning of April 9, making a triple holiday over faster. Traders had asked this unusually long suspension, due to the nervous strain, to which they had been subjected during the recent boom. FOREIGN EXCHANGES.
