RUGBY FOOTBALL.
TARANAKI UNION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. The annual meeting of the Taranaki Rugby Union was held at Stratford on Friday. There were about 50 delegates present. The election of officers resulted :— President. Mr. A. F. Nielson ; vice-presidents, Messrs. It. Masters and J. Goodwin ; management committee. Messrs. J. McLeod. J. Garcia, H. Spurdle (North), and J. J. l'aterson. W. A. Guy and W. B. Fearon '(South). The year ended with a balance to the accumulated funds of the union, which stood at £1042. At a subsequent meeting of the committee, Mr. Mcleod was re-elected chairman.-
