RUGBY FOOTBALL.
WAIPA UNION. TB AWAMUTC, Saturday. The annual meeting of the Waipa Rugby Union was held last evening, Mr F. Quia presiding. H The following officers were elected for tho ensuing year:—Patron, Mr. L. G Armstrong, and Mr. J. Rolleston, M.P.: president, Mr. P. Quin.; vice-presi'lents, Messrs. W. G. Park. J. T. Johnson, F. E Ijoomh J T. North. W. Smith, R. Kay, L. L. Hibberd; treasurer, Mr. A. A. Reese: secretary. Mr. L. O. Morgan; auditor, Mr. G. O. Jourdain. A notice of motion that the president be entitled to a vote on the Management Committee, whether a delegate or not, was carried. ■ It was decided to have a sole selector for rep. teams, appointment to be made by the management committee. The following were elected a management committee: Messrs. P. J. Doyle. W. Whltton, J. Williams. G. W. Mairs, G. Reynolds, G. Jeffs, H. Mabbett, H. T. Haselden, and W. Cavanagh.
