The Prime Minister of Australia, Mr. S. M. Bruce, has decided to take no furtnw action to induce the Australian Workers' Union to nominate delegates for the industrial peace conference. In » letter to the union he says he coneludes it is useless to expect it to assist to secure industrial peace by a conference of employers and employees. It is understood that if the council of the Trade Unions decide to be represented Mr. Bruce will be given the right to nominate additional delegates in place of the Australian Workers' Union representatives.
