The Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay representative -tennis teams met in Napier tn-day. The results of play up to the luncheon adjournment are as follow (Hawke's Bay being mentioned firsti:-- , Men's Singles.—Lowry beat Welsh, 6-!—0, 6—B, 6—2; Milburn lost to Swanaon, 4—6, 6—3, 6—4; Budd beat Bunny, 7—5, 6—l; Craigie beat Taberner, 7 —5, 6—3; Smith lost to Wellwood, 6—2, 6—4. Ladies' Singles.—Miss Ormond lost to Mrs. McMaster, 3 —6, 6—o, ft—3; Miss Craig beat Mrs. Maitland, 6—3, 4 —6, 6—4; Mi's. Hetley beat Mrs. Allen, 5—6, 6—l, 6—2; Miss Bennett lost to Mrs. Booth, 2—6, 6—2, 6—3; Miss Hobson beat Mrs. Steel, 6—2, 6—2.
