ATIAMURI SETTLEMENT.

FREE FROM CATTLE SICKNESS.

ROTORUA. Wednesday.

The Atiamuri settlement contains a spring which is of more value than any of the springs at Te Aroha because of its iron content, snid Mr. B. C. Aston, chief chemist of the Agricultural Department's laboratory after a visit to the settlement.

Mr. Aston said the spring, which is ou Mr. Parson 3 farm, cuutained carbonate of iron. The water generallv found through the settlement contained traces of iron and was 110 doubt tbe reason for the freedom from cattle sickness.
