GROWING HAMILTON.
LEGAL WORK INCREASES. END OF LONG SESSION. Hamilton Supreme Court session has at last finished, and Mr. Justice Blair has returned to Auckland to take up the unfinished threads of Auckland's civil sessions. It has been the longest and busiest session held at Hamilton, symptomatic of the growth of the Waikato centre and of the large area which it covers so far as legal work is concerned. In conversation with a "Star" representative today Professor R. M. Algie, who directs the work of legal students at AucklandUniversity, said Hamilton would soon rival Auckland in the amount of litigation whicu came before Supreme Court judges.
Auckland's civil list for the February (not yet concluded) was by no moans a heavy one, but several interesting cases are still due for hearing. One or two defended divorces are listed, and there are several important commercial cases.
