WIRELESS PROGRAMMES.
DEALERS' VIEW,
A special meeting of the Radio Dealera' Association was held on Wednesday to consider recently-expressed opinions against the policy and programmes of the Broadcasting Company. Each member expressed the emphatic opinion that, whilst admittedly some items were not popular, the consensus of public opinion was that the programmes, as a whole, were really good, oom pared with Australian stations, especially considering the restricted amount of local talent available.
It waa agreed that programmes had improved considerably during the past year, and from information available, members were satisfied that continuous improvement can be looked for, more so if the recent destructive criticism gives way to helpful suggestions. Many recent innovations and improvements were the direct result of suggestions from private listeners-in, and it is hoped that such suggestions will continue to be made.
