Sir Austen Chamberlain, the Foreign Secretary, stated in the House of Commons that no settlement of the questions outstanding between the Persian Government and the British Government had yet been reached, and he could not at present make a statement regarding negotiations for the establishment of a civil air service between Iraq and India.
