In the House of Commons, Sir Austen Chamberlain, in answer to a question, said the British representative at Geneva had been instructed to co-operate with his colleagues in securing the fullest examination of the Russian disarmament proposals. They would see in the newspapers that Lord Cushendun had carried out his instruction with skill and judgment. —(A. and N.Z. and Sydney "Sun.")
