DWELLING BURNED.
OUTBREAK AT IHUMATAO.
Fire last evening destroyed a sevenroomed house, occupied by Mrs. Warbridge, on Mr. Frank Ball's property at Ihumatao. Owing to there being no water siipply available nothing could 'be done by those who gathered to save the building, and it, together with its contents, was burned to the ground. Ihumatao is outside any fire district, so there was no brigade within call. At the time of the outbreak there was no one at the place. The house was insured in the New Zealand Office for £350.
