Annual Meeting Under Way.—
Hurdles To Kilburn. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAWERA, this day. The Opunake Jockey Club's annual meeting is being held in perfect weather, and the track is in splendid condition. There is a fine attendance from all around the Taranaki district. As the result of an inquiry after the first race, F. L. Buterworth, rider of Mountain Bell, was suspended for one month for interference with Ban Fera. Results: — HACK HUBDLES of 200 sore. One mile and a-half.
