THRILLING MAN HUNT.

Hein, (he alleged murderer and robber who was surrounded in a wood after long eluding a thousand searchers, ineluding police and soldiers, was arrested at Wcingarten, where he was discovered in an inn complaining of starving. The man hunt was the most thrilling in German criminal history.
Hein was surrounded in a wood at Coburg, being suspected of robberies and four murders. He was armed. A polive sergeant who jumped off his bicycle attempted to arrest him, but was shot through the head. Hein rode off on the bicycle. A second police officer overtook him, and Hein took ambush in a ditch. He exchanged a fusillade until his ammunition was exhausted. Hein, who was thought to have been wounrtei", escaped. He and an accomplice raided the post office at Ohligs at Christmas and shot two officials. The accomplice, Larni, was arrested. Hein afterwards shot two policemen who were I trying to arrest him, and killed one of them.
