ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT.

Arnold Firth, a married man with four children, was charged with carrying a loaded revolver beyond the limit of his dwelling, and not being the bolder of a license for the earn*. Sergeant P. Felton prosecuted. For the defence, Mr. F. D. McLiver stated that Firth showed the revolver to a taxi-driver with whom he wa6 driving oil January 31 last. The driver took the revolver, and after emptying it of the cartridges returned it to -Firth, who took it home and threw it under the house, where it was. found by the police a weik afterwards with one charge in it.
