PICNICS.
ORDER OF BUFFALOES.
A combined picnic of the Dominion and Kia Ora Lodges was held at Ferndale yesterday. Over 300 members, their wives, families and friends were present. The arrangements were perfect, and a capital committee and officials under Mr. C. W. O'flara, chairman, conducted a lengthy sports programme, ajid other attractions without a hitch. Valuable prizes, donated by members of the two lodges, were bestowed upon the winners by Mr. H. S. W. King, president of the order. The children were specially catered for, and will long remember the good things provided for them,
