WAIWERA BURGLARY.
THEFT OF BENZINE.
TWENTY CASES VANISH.
When Mr. J. McMillan, a retired farmer who runs a launch at Waiwera, opened his storeshed on the banks of the river near the Waiwera Bridge this morning he found that during the night twenty cases of benzine and £1 worth of lubricating oil had vanished.
Access had been gained by cutting a heavy chain. The benzine and oil was valued at from £18 to £20.
