AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

Better prices were offered this morning on 'Change for shares in the National Bank of Australasia, also the National Bank of New Zealand, and sales were made of English and Scottish Banks at £7 14/; while Bank of Australasia were transferred at £14 10/. Bank of New Zealand shares could now be got for 59/3. Bank of N.S.W. are offeied at £40, at which figure there were several sales a week ago. Buyers offered 40/ for Burns, Philp shares this morning, but no seller quoted. Colonial Sugar advanced, buyers quoting £54 15/ to-day. '
