FERRY REGULATIONS.
Support for the proposed by-laws regulating traffic in the ferry basin was contained in resolutions conveyed to today's meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board by the Northcote and Birkenhead Borough Councils.
On the other hand, a letter signed by 32 master mariners indicated that they were of the opinion that there was no danger of collision in the basin, which might be attended by loss of life and limb, provided the present by-laws were adhered to.
