SANDERS CUP RACES.
CREW FOR AVALON,
When the selection committee decided on Avalon as the Auckland representative for the forthcoming Sanders -Cup contest, it was doubtful if Messrs. J. Patrick (skipper), and F. Cloke (owner), of Avalon, could make the journey to Stewart Island. They have now been able to get the necessary leave, and will go with their boat. E. Matthews, brother "of Rona's skipper, and HBrowne, Rojaa's for'ard hand, are also willing to go, and it is probable that this crew will be approved by the selection committee.
