MEDICAL CLUB'S FINANCE.
.MANY NON-SUBSCRIBERS

At the annual meeting of the Hikurangi District. Medical Club, the chairman, jMr. D. Jackson, said there were still many 11011-subscribers in the district who took free advantage of the doctor's services, and although every effort had been made to induce them to become subscribers they did not bear their share of the responsibility for the "upkeep of the club.
It was resolved to ask the Waipu Medical Club to join in an appeal to [the department asking for authority to (differentiate in the charges for subscribers and non-subscribers.
The medical officer. Dr. Cheeseman, ■was thanked for his services.
The following committee was elected for the ensuing year: —Messrs. D. Jackson (chairman), C. Latham, J. Swinbank. R. Nesbitt, W. Hawkins. B. J. Hardie, and T. Burlev.
