McCONACHY WINS AGAIN.

TAUMARUNUI, Friday,
There was a large attendance yesterday afternoon and evening to witness the conclusion of the billiards match between Clark McConachy, the New Zealand champion, and C. A. Stevenson, the local amateur. When the evening session concluded on Wednesday, McConachy's total was 2000 and Stevenson's 3159. In the afternoon yesterday Stevenson played well and increased his score to 3491, his best breaks being 50, 30, 31 and 22. McConachy was also in form, and at the end of the session his score was 3000, liis best breaks beinjr 240, 212, 115, 101, 93, 54 and 32.
At the evening session, Stevenson failed to maintain his form, and McConachy went ahead to win by 288 points. Stevenson took his total to 3713, his best breaks being 54 and 28. McConachy's total of 4001 included breaks of 200, 178, 119, 02, 61, 57, 56 and 52 at the evening session. The averages for the whole match were: MeConacliy, 42.3; Stevenson, 11.6.
