OVERTIME STRIKE.

Workers Consider They Have

Three Complaints.

TROUBLE GROWING. (Received 11 .TO a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. As a result of the overtime strike several oversea steamers are delayed at Sydney. In the inter-State trade a number of firms have been compelled to limit the space allotted to cargo.

The second is that the dispute has arisen owing to the demands of the Tasmanian members that they were entitled to work the loading and unloading of cargo at certain ports, which has not been acceded to and the third dispute has arisen, it is stated, in West Australia between the federation and the Australian Workers' Union, because, it is claimed, members of the Australian Workers' Union were performing the work which belonged to the Watersiders' Federation.

When the Maloja from London arrived at Fremantle the wharf labourers unloaded the mails but refused to woik the cargo after five o'clock,'resulting in a delay of several hours in the vessel's departure for eastern States.
