MARSEILLES REACHED. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 21. Sir Alan Cobham has reached Marseilles in his all-steel flying boat on his flight from England to survey the African coast line." 'GILES AGAIN DELAYED. RUNWAY SOFT FOR TAKE-OFF. SAN FRANCISCO, November 21. Captain F. A. Giles will probably postpone the start of his flight to Australia for several days, because heavy rains have made the runway too soft for the take-off.
The aviation field officials stated that it would take at least three or four days, even if there should be no rain, before the heavily loaded 'plane would be able >to take-off.
