(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, Monday.
It is estimated by the City Council that the operation of summer time will result in a reduction in the consumption of electricity by 10 per cent, which will reduce the revenue of the department by £500 or £600 a week. Over the period of 17 weeks the total involved will be from £8000 to £10,000.
