BRIDGE PARTY.

FOR CHARITY'S SAKE.

One of the largest and most successful bridge parties held this season was given last evening in the Click Clack rooms, over 250 people responding to the call of the Mater Misericordiae Hospital which has for its object, a scheme to gather enough capital for a free hospital in its beautiful grounds at Mount Eden, tor the poor of all denominations. Great praise must be given to the organisers, Mesdames O. O'Neill, Conlan, and Misses A Casey and M. Wells, hon. secretary, who worked for such a splendid result.
