PRIME MINISTER.
VISIT TO AUCKLAND.
SHORT STAY ONLY.
The Prime Minister (the Right Hon. J. G. Coates), accompanied by Mrs. Coates, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited express, and will probably return to Wellington this evening.
The reason of Mr. Coates' visit is to take part in the welcome to the Secretary of State for the Dominions (Mr. L. S- Amery), who arrived in Auckland this morning, accompanied by Mrs. Amery.
Mr. Coates met the visitors at the Grand Hotel, and later took part in the official welcome.
On arrival this morning the Prime Minister wa« taet by a number of his personal friends. ,
