NAVY'S MEAT SUPPLY.
LONDON, November 18.
It was stated in the House of Commons that of the meat supplied to tlie Navy in 1926 Britain supplied 1 per cent, the Dominions 83 per cent, anil foreign countries 16 per cent. Part of the meat bought from foreign countries, was bought at a time when Dominion supplies were not obtainable. It it estimated thm purchase of Home meat exclusively would cost an additional £10,000 • month.—(A. and >.Z. and Sydney "Sun.")
