EARTHQUAKE INCIDENT.
The recent earthquake was responsible for an amusing- incident. Three men were smoking- when the shock came. One dropped His cigarette ■with well —surprise; one found himself chewing: the end or his; While the third went on complacently puffing- away as thoug-h nothing untoward had happened. "You rellows are suffering- from nerves," the latter remarked. "Most men do nowadays," said one 0* the others. "Too much smoking:!" "No Tear! Wny don't- you try Bears' Smokln? Tobacco. It won't affect your nerves. It's a 3weet, cool smoke. 8d per oz loose, also In handy packets, loz 9d, 2oz 1/6. — (Ad.)
