WOMAN CYCLIST INJURED.
KNOCKED DOWN" AT MANUREWA, Miss Alma Knee bone, of Wallace Boad, Manurewa, was knocked over by a motor car while cycling on the Great South Road in Manurewa township yesterday. Miss Knee bone, who was following behind a motor car, pulled to the centra of the road to pass the vehicle as it slowed down, and was struck by a car coining from the opposite direction. The force of the impact badly buckled the front wheel of the bicycle, but fortunately the rider escaped with cuts and rather severe bruises. After receiving attention she was able to return home.
