BOWLING.
MANUREWA CLUB OPENING.
The informal opening of the Macurewa Bowling Club was held on Saturday. Xh3 greens, were in „ capital order. During the afternoon a match with a visiting rink from Clevedon resulted as follows, the names of tbe local, players being given first:—Hawthorn, Murray, Butterworth, Pegler 29, v. McKenzie, Collect, Hancock, Dawe 19.
