TE AWAMUTU, this day. Te Awamutu Croquet Club's seaonn opened on Saturday In tie presence of a record crowd. The Mayor, Mr. L G Ann strong., declared the lawns open for plav The club's president, Mrs. Lacy PeakeT hit the first ball. Progressive croquet and clock golf were played. In the progressive croquet Mrs. Bartleet (Hamilton) won the A section, and ??rthe B section. Mrs. White (Morrinsville) won the clock golf.
