DIOMEDE'S NEW COMMANDER.
Captain A. G. Wells, who is to take command of the cruiser Diomede, will arrive at Auckland from London by the Rotorua on Sunday afternoon next.
Commodore G. T. C. P. Swabey, who has been in command of the Diomede for some months, will take - over H.M.'s Dunediri, flagship of the squadron.
