MOTOR ACCIDENTS.
OLD MAN FATALLY INJURED
CAR FALLS OVER BANK. ißy Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. William Watson, aged 76, a resident of Brighton, was driving a car this evening when it ran over a bank at Kuri Bush. He was found on the beach in a serious condition, and was at once brought to the Dunedin Hospital, where he died at 10.45 p.m.
COLLISION" NEAR TE KUITI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, Monday. A collision between cars driven by Mrs S. Board, Te Kuiti, and Mr. A. Xord, taxi-driver, Pio Pio, occurred on the Awakino Road, on the first steep portion between Te Kuiti and Pio Pio, late on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Board, accompanied by four friends, was bound for Pio Pio, and Mr. Nord, with two passengers, was travelling in the opposite direction. The collision occurred at a sharp bend. Luckily none of the occupants was injured, but both cars were damaged.
