WORK OF RETICUIATION.
MAIN LINE FROM ROTORUA. "" (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. The Public Works Department is now inviting tenders for the cartage of poles on the route of the Ngongotaha-Opotiki transmission line, iu the Kutarere sec-, tion. During the next few months the Department will be actively engaged in the erection of the main power line from Rotorua to points at Rangitaiki, in the Whakatane county, and Waiotahi, in the Opotiki county, where substations will be erected for the breaking down of the current. There is every prospect that all the lines will be completed and current supplied by the Government for Whakatane county and Opotiki borough and county by the end of June, 1928.
The Bay of Plenty Power Board is now busily engaged in preparing for the erection of various lines throughout the beard's district. Contracts for wiring Work* of houses and farms will shortly Le Kt.
