BEACON* LIGHT AND SHIRLEY WELL FORWARD. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.T WANGANUL tii« dar. Among last night's arrivals were Shirley and Beacon Light. They both look ray forward and hare evidently done a lot of work. They should both run well to-morrow. Anchor never looked better titan he is at present. F. Tilley arrived la*t night witk Laughing Prince, Avro, Shining Armour. Freehold and Otairi. The two firstmentioned shaped very pleasingly over half a mile this morning. Vast Acre also went remarkably well asd is evident!? in great fettle. Liason. the three-year-old Lord Qoex filly in the Maiden race, abapes like one that will win soon. The weather is now clearing.
