WANGANUI, this day. The weather was fine, but the tracks were heavy this morning for the tinal gallops. Polydectes went balf-a-mile in 545, Grand Knight taking 51 2-3s for a similar distance. Eden Hal] and Lc Choreas ran fire farlongs in 1.7 4-5. Haikai covered half-a-mile in 55*. Aro de Val ijnd Degage ran six furlongs b 1.23., Cion© taking IJSI. R Beeeanee and liaaua ran half-a-mile in 52 4-s*. Mask and Damans went five furlongs in li 4-5. David Garrick, In the Shade, and Ten finished in a line at the end of six furlongs in 1.22. Vast Acre beat Brak-o'-Day over four furlongs in 525. After Breakfast. Kiosk and Star Area ran five furlongs in I.S. Great Charter and Doree covered five furlongs in 1.4 4-5, both going nicely. Tresham and Te Monanui were associated over a mile, which took 1-51. Alloway and Marian's Birthday ran half-a-mile in 535, and Mint Leaf'seven furlongs in 1.3S 1-5.
