BAIfJTS SUMPTUOUS YACHT. LONDON, August 12. Ranjiteinhji, the famous cricketer, has bought the 745-ton yacht, Valfreyia, on which, until the time of his death, in April last year, the American millionaire, Mr. Bayard Brown, lived a life of seclusion for years off the coast of Essex. The yacht will be renamed The Star of India. It is being re-equipped at Southampton, and ia expected to sail for India;at the end of the month. Its first commission will be the conveyance of the Viceroy, Lord Irwin, on his official visit to Nawanagar.
