OPOSSUM SKIN MARKET.
Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report that at the opossum sale held at Dunedin yesterday they offered a catalogue of 2500. Prices were better than was expected. Super blue, 14/3 to 16'6; first, 12/9 to 14/6; second, 10./ to 12'; thirds, 6/ to B'3: super greys, 13/ to I.V; second, 9/ to 10/3: third, 4/6 to 6/6; first greys. 10/6 to 12/8; super blacks. 11/6 to 13 6: first, 9/ to 10/9; second. 7/ to 8/9: third. 4/6 to 5/'; super reds, 8/9 to 10.'; first. 8 to 8/6; second, 5/6 to 6,' G. They anticipate a good sale on August 12.
