MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Maoriland Consolidated.—The manager reports that during the week ending July lfi the crosscut was advanced six feet, making the total to date iifi feet. There has been no change in the nature of the country since last week.

Albumin.—The manager reports that the Western crosscut has been advanced from 22<!ft to 24nft. Only 2ft was driven on the hangingwall branch of the Orlando reef, this making 2(ift to date. This branch now shows a width of about 2ft. and odd colours of cold have been seen in the ore broken. Stoping over the intermediate level has been continued, the reef showing a width of about 2ft in most parts in the back of the stope. It has been jnore or less split, and has a bigger underlie than that previously worked. During the past week very little values were seen, but on Saturday a little stone was selected showing a fair quantity of gold. This was in the southern end of the stope. where the reef appears to be again more defined, and with its usual underlie.

Moanataiari.—The manager reports :— No. 1 winze, on the reef, has been sunk sft. a total of 2oft. The reef here averages 3ft wide, and is a strong body of stone carrying mineral, blend and silica. Colours and dabs of gold have been seen right to the bottom of the winze. A start lias been made to carry a stope from No. 1 winze to No. 2 winze, and have carried along (ift. total 6ft. The reef averages 3ft wide, and looks very well. Dabs of gold were seen in the stone.
